~ MINISTRIES ~
MEN'S MINISTRY: The Men’s group is not about having a club or a guild (people with common interests or goals);
it’s about integrating men into our church. It’s about camaraderie, affirmation, personal development and spiritual growth.
WOMEN'S MINISTRY: Our local church Women's Ministries includes Bible studies; prayer teams; providing meals for
our church members recently returned home from the hospital or for families after the death of loved ones; ministry to single women;
activities for church families; visitation of church families who are sick or grieving; and welcoming newcomers to our church with a
monthly dinner.
CHILDREN'S MINISTRY: We are enthusiastic about helping families raise children that love God, are filled with His
spirit, and can share their faith with confidence. To be able to accomplish these things, we offer the following children's
ministries: nursery, Sunday school classes for each grade level, Master's Commission, Missionettes, Royal Rangers, and PowerHouse.
TIMELESS TREASURES: Timeless Treasures is a Senior Adult Ministry for ages 50 and older. At least once a
month, we meet on a Saturday morning for breakfast and prayer, and on a Friday night for a potluck/game night which also includes
a time of prayer. Through out the year we take short trips, which includes going to see a play, shopping, picnics, etc. We would
love for you to come join us.
YOUTH MINISTRY: The goal of this ministry is to make disciples of Jesus Christ. We go about doing that by
following the three-fold philosophy of "Win, Build, Send." We win teens to the Lord through community outreaches, and Wednesday
night youth services. We build them up by getting them involved in small groups, our youth lead worship band, giving to missions,
and group outings. We send them by providing opportunities to go on mission trips, and events they will feel comfortable
inviting their friends to attend.
MUSIC MINISTRY: We lean towards a contemporary style of music embellished with hymns set to a modern music style.
Our band is made up of acoustic and electric guitars, drums, percussion, bass, and keyboards. Our choir presents specials and
cantatas from various music styles often accompanied by drama. The music department's desire is to worship God in spirit and in
truth, transparent before our King so that we may touch His heart and His throne with our worship and our praise.
CLEANSING STREAM: Cleansing Stream is a discipleship ministry of realignment to the Word of God and deliverance
from any kind of bondage. Through the 12-week study, participants learn skills to help them be overcomers in life, people of the
Word, people of prayer and people of worship.
AFRICAN CHURCH: The African Church consists of immigrants from Tanzania and Rwanda. They conduct one service a week
in their native language, Swahili. Also, a translator is offered for all other worship services. In addition to the weekly service,
there is also a Wednesday night small group, and a choir.
FIRST ASSEMBLY BIBLE INSTITUTE: First Assembly Bible Institute is Berean School of the Bible (BSB) Study Center.
BSB is a division of Global University which utilizes the independent-study method. Courses can be taken using independent study
texts published by Global University, online, or by CD.
VISITORS: There are enough unknowns when somebody visits a church for the first-time. Parking, child-care, and
getting to the right place at the right time shouldn’t be among them. Our goal is to make your first visit to our church a positive
experience from the time you arrive until the time you leave.
